It’s been awhile since I posted a blog. On July 25th of 2015 I worked with Heather & Mike (our couple) for their ceremony + reception. I’d have to say the guests had a great time… guests that stayed to the end wanted me to keep on going…. in fact we went an hour overtime!
Most of the time guests really don’t understand the “behind the scenes” work we do. I worked closely with Heather to create the colors she wanted for her uplighting (which really made our room stand out) to the ceremony. Normally when a couple book me for the ceremony I also show up the night before for the rehearsal dinner/practice run. We started setting everything up Friday the day before the wedding and let me tell you these bridesmaid & Groomsmen were ready to party from the beginning.
Both the ceremony as well as reception were held at the Silvermoon Banquet Hall in Lewisburg, PA (just off the main route 15) Also food was catered by Scott of the Silvermoon, which if you never had his food… well you’re missing out because it hit the spot.
Uplighting filled the whole room during the reception. For our special dances, Mike danced with his mother and Heather danced with her Son as her father was watching from above. All of the traditional activities were held such as the dollar dance. All in all a great night that I believe the guests who remained until the end never wanted the night to end.
